Well something was looking out for me, as I managed to finish my short story around 2 am this morning. Holy crap am I tired! I ended up doing a whole different story, yeah I'm a smart one, as come Sunday morning I had realized I needed like an extra week or two to finish my current one. So I went and banged out my supervillain piece instead, and will do my superhero one for my April 1st deadline.

I'll prolly post my story up here, hell why not? Plus you lucky readers, if I actually have any you win a cookie for being so awesome, will get to be the first to read the two additional scenes I had to cut out due to there only being 24 hours in a freaking day.

I couldn't believe that the other girl whose story was due today also did superheroes! I was like, no wai! I didn't say anything, only because I didn't want to give anything away about my story, but I'm so wearing my Batman shirt to class on Wednesday. Hers is pretty sweet, about two gay superheroines trying to deal with the pressure of keeping their relationship a secret. It's the same length as mine, 9 pages, but hers is just one continuous scene, whereas mine takes you through three different places in difference times.

Can't wait to hear what they have to say, especially since everyone will have two stories to actually compare against. Unlike the first two we've done, a con artist who extorts money from rich women by having affairs with them, and the kid who is so fed up by the constant bullying he endures at home/school that he kills his father and everyone at his school.

Soooo excited!

ps. I totally didn't say how awesome my cover page is! I'm the only that has done one so far, and it was bitchin', I got a lot of comments on it after I passed it out. I themed my story as a Play/Musical, so the front is a playbill and each chapter is titled as an Act. Gah I can't wait to put it up!

Blarg, been puttering away at my story project...and it's going less well as I was hoping. It doesn't help that I have concentration issues and I'm sick, yay me. I'm probably going to be up all night working on this, especially since I'm going to lose a few hours this afternoon picking up my mother from work and going to see my cousin and his band at the club their playing at.

Well hopefully we'll be able to see him, I asked my mother if she called him...and yet she's under the illusion that he will just magically be there. Gah.

The band's tour page says they'll be playing with 4 other bands. Though I can't help but laugh when on the Club Firestone site it just has Streetlight Manifesto, with TBA Special Guests. Sorry Trev'!

If it weren't for the fact that I a] Have no money, and b] have this story to write, I would've so bought tickets....hmm they still have a show on Monday...Oh wait, I forgot I have no one to go with! Yay for no social life!.

Thanks to whoever is responsible for turning the heat lamp back on. 70's + this week! Though I have been quite happy chillin' in my leather jacket and trench. I love recycling my dad's old stuff he used to wear 30 years ago.

Oh snap, note to self: Update L.E.D.G.E stuff with new Character: Mirror [Owens, Veronica] and TimeLine

Yeah...I know I said I was going to be sticking up a sketch post last night, well I ran into some problems formatting some of my scans and I had to hunt down the software for my camera so i could download my pictures. Gah it took me a good hour and a half just to do that, and them another hour just to load the three sketches on photobucket. Lame, I know. But hey no complaining! It's being done now!
